Active since 1983, Chicago house legend Mike Dunn stands as one of the genre's true originators. A pioneer of both acid house and hip house, Dunn helped define the sound of Chicago's underground through seminal releases such as "Magic Feet," "Phreaky MF," "God Made Me Phunky," and "So Let It Be Houze!"

Across a catalog spanning influential labels including Warehouse Records, Dance Mania, Trax, Classic, and Defected, his distinctive fusion of acid basslines, raw drum machine rhythms, and unmistakable vocal style has remained a cornerstone of dance music for more than four decades.

Beyond his own productions, Dunn has collaborated with and remixed artists across multiple generations of house music, including Honey Dijon and Ten City, while his acclaimed album My House From All Angles reaffirmed his enduring creativity and relevance.
